[Update] Where to Get a COVID-19 PCR Test for Travel: UK

As we outlined in our primer on Canada’s new COVID-19 border restrictions, most people who travel to Canada will need to show the results of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of travel.

We recently provided some information on where to get a COVID-PCR test for travel in the US. In this article we focus on the UK.

If you are flying to Canada from the UK the first thing to note is that UK travelers are not allowed to use the free tests provided by the National Health Service. The NHS’s website does have a helpful link to a list of private testing services – but it will cost you.
