Mr. Thrifty wants to alert you to a new, limited time offer by Manulife Bank: 3.25% interest on new deposits for the first 6 months for people who open a new Manulife Advantage Account. This promotion ends July 15 so you need to act quickly to take advantage (pun intended).
(1) Manulife reduced the rate from 3.35% to 3.25% but the new rate is still a great deal, and
(2) Manulife recently revised the terms of its promotional offer to only pay interest on up to $100,000 of deposits (existing holders are grandfathered in).
